Journey of Seasons began as an illustration project inspired by the ancient Chinese agricultural calendar, which divides the year into 24 solar terms, or “solar seasons.” The story follows a tiny girl as she journeys through the forest, experiencing the changing seasons. I later expanded the scope to animation, which brings to life the tranquil and nostalgic moments of the world around her.

A tribute to my orchid that bloomed again after being dormant for two years, after my persistent care and watering. I also printed a riso zine based on this animation.
